UNION TANK Eckstein GmbH & Co. KG (UTA) is one of Europe’s leading providers of fuel and service cards as well as toll solutions. Through the UTA card system, commercial customers can refuel brand-independently and cashlessly at more than 62,000 acceptance points in 40 European countries and use additional on-the-road services. These include toll billing, workshop services, breakdown and towing services, as well as VAT and mineral oil tax refunds.

The company, founded in 1963, is majority-owned by Edenred SA (83 percent). Edenred, the global leader in payment solutions for the working world, connects 830,000 corporate customers, 47 million employees using its payment solutions, and 1.7 million partner companies in 45 countries.

The assignment

Through innovative technologies, brand-independent fuel supply and billing, intelligent toll solutions, and a comprehensive range of services, UTA has developed into an internationally leading mobility service provider. Communicating this performance and new services across various media nationally and internationally is one of our core tasks. This includes exclusive stories in business and industry newspapers as well as our own newsletters. In addition, we conceptualize and support press events, for example for the opening of new branches in Prague and Vienna.
