AD HOC has been driving electric mobility for more than a year: The team has gladly embraced the e-mobility enthusiasm that chief pilot Frank Rettig was the first to bring into the company. Daily use shows: the agile electric car is not only economical to maintain but also extremely fun to drive.
AD HOC turns 30. This is being celebrated – with a magazine, the first large-scale augmented reality animation in Gütersloh, a social media campaign, and an open house day.
Reading habits on the internet are changing rapidly thanks to smartphones and tablets. The second website relaunch takes this development into account.

Lars Haberl builds up the in-house graphics team as Art Director.
For the Federal Council, AD HOC produces the first issue of the magazine “Drucksache,” which is published on German Unity Day. Since then, new issues have followed annually.

Founder Wolfpeter Hocke is given a gala reception at Klosterpforte Marienfeld to mark his retirement as Managing Director.
AD HOC develops a new concept for “VDV Das Magazin.” Since then, six issues per year have been produced as part of a full-service approach.

Fresh blue, modern typography, and a concise claim: With a new corporate design and CI, AD HOC stands for “Intelligent Communication”.
Frank Rettig becomes self-employed with his own agency at Brockweg 85.
AD HOC conducts a large survey on the “Future of Logistics,” which is repeated in 2008.
Frank Rettig (center) joins AD HOC as an editor and client advisor. From 2003, the trained daily newspaper journalist takes on management responsibilities as Head of Automotive/Technology and Managing Editor.
The first issue of the industry report “Automotive Suppliers” is published. Until 2005, the trade magazines regularly examine the state of the industry in time for the IAA.
AD HOC goes online: With its first website, the agency is now also present on the internet.
The AD HOC team now consists of ten employees and moves into new office space at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 65.
Wolfpeter Hocke founds AD HOC Gesellschaft für Public Relations. The agency is based at Thesings Allee 10 in Gütersloh. From the very beginning, we also focus on nurturing young talent: trainees are an integral part of the team.
